Cookies and local technologies
Last update: October 13, 2026
Necessary technologies
We use cookies and equivalent technologies, such as localStorage and IndexedDB, for authentication, security and interface operation. Firebase Authentication may keep you signed in until you sign out, clear site data or the session is invalidated. Requested preferences, such as language, theme and interface state, are also stored. We do not use geolocation to choose your language.
Optional tracking
Only if you choose analytics cookies do we load Microsoft Clarity on the public actaflow.ai website. It analyzes clicks, scrolling and navigation through heatmaps and session recordings to improve pages. It does not load in the authenticated app, dashboard, sign-in pages or workspace chats. Advertising consent remains denied. Before your choice, after “Only necessary” and after withdrawal, we do not load the Clarity tag or activate its cookieless tracking mode. You can accept, decline or customize categories in the banner, with optional cookies initially disabled. Browsing or closing preferences does not constitute consent. See our Privacy notice and Microsoft’s statement for collected data, recipients and transfers.
External services
Google may use security technologies during sign-in and abuse prevention, including authentication-related reCAPTCHA checks. Connecting a service opens its authorisation page, which is also subject to that service’s notices. Interface fonts are supplied with the application. External links and remote content may contact the relevant site when you open them.
Management and duration
“Cookie Preferences” in the public website footer and legal documents lets you change or withdraw consent at any time. When you turn analytics off, we first save the refusal, stop Clarity, remove its first-party cookies accessible to this website and the local tab reference, then reload the page so the tracker cannot continue without cookies. Withdrawal does not automatically delete previously transmitted data or cookies on Microsoft domains, which you can manage in browser settings. Your choice is stored in the browser’s localStorage under actaflow_cookie_consent_v1 for up to 365 days. We ask again when it expires or after material changes to optional tools. This storage allows us to respect your decision. Other requested preferences remain until changed or cleared; session tokens are renewed or invalidated by authentication. You can also sign out and clear cookies and site data in your browser. Clearing local data does not delete your account or server-held data and may remove preferences and unsaved drafts.
